Organizational Structure Introduction
The Reciprocal Research Network is part of the Museum of Anthropology's Renewal Project "A Partnership of Peoples." Budgeted at $52 million, the Renewal Project has received funding from the Canada Foundation for Innovation, the British Columbia Knowledge Development Fund, The Koerner Foundation, The University of British Columbia, The UBC Faculty of Arts, and the Museum itself.
The RRN is co-developed by the Musqueam Indian Band, the Sto:lo Nation/Tribal Council, the U'mista Cultural Society and the Museum of Anthropology. The RRN is operated by the Museum of Anthropology at the University of British Columbia. The Museum is financially and administratively responsible for all budgets within the Museum's Renewal Project including that for the RRN.
Museum of Anthropology
The RRN Steering Group is responsible for developing and implementing the RRN within its fixed budget and schedule. Museums providing data to the RRN are participating in the development of the RRN through working groups.
The RRN launch is scheduled for the spring of 2010.
