Availability

MOA's facilities are available for rental from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm on any evening except Tuesdays, when we are open late to the public. We offer exclusive access to all Museum Galleries, but food and drink are limited either to our beautiful new Courtyard Room and adjacent outdoor Courtyard, or to our stunning ocean-view Grounds.

Capacity

Please note that these numbers are approximate, and additional space requirements for a buffet, bar, staging, and/or audio-visual set-up must be factored into your planning.

Museum Grounds: Sit-down dinner 600-800 people; Stand-up Reception: 1000-1200 people

Courtyard Room, Outdoor Courtyard, or space combined: please contact Public Services Manager for information on capacities.

Pricing - Corporate or Community Events

Access to all Museum Galleries, with food and drink service in Courtyard Room and adjacent Courtyard: $4000

Access to all Museum Galleries, with food and drink service on Museum Grounds:

Groups of 1-499 people$4000
Groups of 500-999 people$5000
Groups of 1,000+Please contact the Public Services Manager for information on pricing
Flat-rate grounds cleanup fee$200

For an additional fee of $1000, we welcome groups to book both the Courtyard Room and the Museum Grounds for their receptions.

Additional days required for large-scale event set-up or tear-down must be reserved at the time of the initial booking at a cost of $2000 per day.

Pricing - Private Celebrations

Weddings and similar celebrations with food and drink service in either the Courtyard Room or the Museum Grounds: $5000

Groups using the Museum Grounds for their food and drink service will have a $200 clean-up fee added to their rental package.

Additional days required for large-scale event set-up or tear-down must be reserved at the time of the initial booking at a cost of $2000 per day.

No discounts apply to rentals for weddings and similar celebrations.

Ceremonies may be performed in any of MOA's food and drink permissible areas, on our beautiful Grounds, or in the Museum’s Great Hall. Note also that fresh flowers are not allowed in the Galleries, so considerations must be made when planning bouquets and corsages - these may not be worn while viewing the collections. Candles and flowers are permitted in any of the food and drink service areas.
