The calligraphy in this 18th century book is a good example of finely excuted work. It was perhaps the calligraphy of Mirza Ahmad Nayrizi, regarded as the last great master of Naskhi script. Much of the text is taken from the Holy Qur'an and includes:

Oh Allah, I ask you of your mercy "that surrounds to include everything." Qur'an 7:156
