WAM! Awards & Design Contest
As part of WAM! artists may submit examples of their artworks to a juried competition. First, Second, and Third prizes will be awarded for each category. Artists may enter to win prizes in the following categories:
- 2D Paper/Canvas
- Basketry/Beadwork/Textiles
- 3D Wood/Stone
- Ceramics
- "Outside the Box" (Mixed Media)
- Jewellery
- Youth (up to 17 years of age, any media accepted)
We are also accepting graphic designs for a promotional campaign for WAM! 2011. The winning design will be used on the WAM! 2011 poster, t-shirt, and other promotional materials. The winning artist will receive a cash prize, royalties for the use of his or her design for a period of one year, and will be named a Featured Artist. The Featured Artist’s work will be displayed for a period of three months in the MOA Shop and on the MOA website.
